Since 1974, Marmot has been developing top quality functional clothing and equipment for mountaineers, outdoor enthusiasts and extreme alpinists. In 1975, just one year after the company was founded,
Hollywood called on them to produce down jackets for a Clint Eastwood film. The following year, 1976, saw their first collaboration with Gore, making Marmot the longest standing outdoor trade partner of the legendary membrane manufacturer. For years, professional mountain guides and top athletes like Stefan Glowacz have been relying on the quality and performance of Marmot products.
Today more than ever, Marmot is focused on sustainability and the protection of the environment. In our spring collection 2010, we present a broad range of products made from recycled polyester, organic cotton and other environmental friendly materials.
